Inherent requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar industry
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred skills and requirements:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree or technical qualification
  • Knowledge on SETA, Training and OHS
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Ability to self-motivate

Duties and responsibilities:

Sales

  • Contribute towards and drive sales strategy to increase revenue and profit
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns and advise them of the best training solution for their needs
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance on the best training solution for their needs
  • Negotiate contracts and packages within the Company’s parameters for Gross Profit (GP)
  • Meet and exceed targets in line with the business units’ strategy and budget

People Management

  • Lead culture in line with the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Continuously develop Health & Safety knowledge, including industry and Company knowledge and share with the team
  • Work with cross functional teams including finance, marketing and operations

Customers

  • Ensure customer retention by servicing and visiting existing clients with the aim to extend and explore potential new business
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships among business partners, clients and consultants

    o Relationship marketing
    o Experiential marketing
    o Commercial marketing
