Inherent requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar industry
- Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred skills and requirements:
- Relevant undergraduate degree or technical qualification
- Knowledge on SETA, Training and OHS
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Ability to self-motivate
Duties and responsibilities:
Sales
- Contribute towards and drive sales strategy to increase revenue and profit
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns and advise them of the best training solution for their needs
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance on the best training solution for their needs
- Negotiate contracts and packages within the Company’s parameters for Gross Profit (GP)
- Meet and exceed targets in line with the business units’ strategy and budget
People Management
- Lead culture in line with the organisation’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
- Continuously develop Health & Safety knowledge, including industry and Company knowledge and share with the team
- Work with cross functional teams including finance, marketing and operations
Customers
- Ensure customer retention by servicing and visiting existing clients with the aim to extend and explore potential new business
- Cultivate and maintain relationships among business partners, clients and consultants
